The NEWTON System Operators are both current or former high school teachers within the
Chicago, Illinois area. Both have taught education and
science courses for local colleges and universities.
Nate is a 31 year veteran physics teacher at
Glenbrook North
High School in Northbrook, Illinois, north of Chicago. He is in charge of routing all of the questions asked to the scientists, and returning any replies. Nate also keeps stats for the site. Website.
Steve is a 36 year veteran (retired) high school A.P. Biology teacher. He is in charge of adding all new pages to the NEWTON archive, and making sure the archive pages are up to date. Website.

Paul Gawlas:
Paul is a web-developer at Argonne, and he is responsible for the redesign of the NEWTON site and the development of all of the NEWTON pages. He also lead efforts to build the NEWTON Teachers Site and redesign the Cook County Nature Bulletins Site.
Cathy Beles:
Cathy is the head of IT Support for the Educational Programs Group at Argonne. She keeps the hardware and software of NEWTON running smoothly and is the first point of contact for the System Operators when computer problems occur.
Arthur Lipka:
Arthur is web-developer at Argonne. He was instrumental in helping to update the numerous archive pages and continues to aid in further NEWTON development.
Dan Ancich:
Dan is a former web-developer at Argonne. He was also instrumental in helping to update the numerous archive pages after the NEWTON site was redesigned.
