John Elliott
Education Manager for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County;
Naturalist with the FPDCC since 1976;
B.S. in Forestry from the University of Missouri;

As a naturalist I have become an ecological "jack of all trades and master of none;" Currently supervise 6 nature centers and education facilities for the FPDCC, and a variety of education programs for schools, groups and the public. My passion is still as a working naturlaist: bird walks, flower walks, present programs for schools and community groups on a wide variety of topics, canoe trips, etc. My knowledge is primarily local to the midwest.
