Length of day

Author: todd m thomposon
The length of daylight hours varies considerably over the seasons in the
high latitudes and fluctuates only slightly in the tropics. Is it true that
at the equator the length of day is always 12 hours of light and twelve
hours of darkness?

Only on the equinoxes, the definition of which is equal day and night. It
is true that the relative lengths of day and night vary less at the equator
than elsewhere.
