Subject: Do I need more memory or speed?
Text: I have a 386 computer with 1 Megabyte of ram, a 124 Megabyte hard
drive, SVGA card (512 K), and running at 25 Mhz. I have Windows 3.1 for my
computer and I also have WordPerfect 5.2 for Windows. I use WordPerfect a
lot, but it runs too slow. What do I need to make my computer run faster.

Text: Well, it sounds like you have a 386SX, 25 MHz machine. Running
Windows with 1 MB is probably the major slowdown. I would recommend getting
more memory. The other thing to do is to look at how you have your system
configured in Windows, specifically the smartdrive you have set up. This
could make a big difference.
