Question:
Are purebred turtles land turtles?

Replies:
Turtles are named for those reptiles that are commonly spend most of their lives in the sea or water. Tortoises are usually the name given to those that spend most or all their life on land. It must be pointed out that these terms are man-made labels and many people use them interchangeably. I do not understand what you mean by "purebred".
