Question:
How do ducks see? Can they see ultraviolet light like some
other birds can?
Replies:
In general bird's eyes function much like ours and other mammals,
with some differences in acuity and probably in color perception. It
is unlikely that ducks or any other birds see very far, if at all, into
either ultraviolet or infrared light ranges.
