Question:
Are mountain lions found in the temperate forest?
Replies:
Mountain lions, also known as cougars once ranged across almost
all of North and South America, including temperate forests of the
eastern and central U.S. They are probably extirpated from the U.S.
east of the Rocky Mountains except for a small number in Florida,
but may be found in temperate forests in the western U.S.
