Question:
Hi! Do spiders die after they give birth? It may sound silly or ignorance but I did not know the answer to the question my 4 years old son asked me. (Why Charlotte dies after she has the babies at the movie Charlotte's Web?). I told him I was going to find out.

Replies:
Some species of spiders will die after laying their eggs, others will lay them and leave, while others will stay around and take care of the young!
