Question:
I have a cluster of american bullfrog amphibious
larva(almost tadpoles)and i would like to know if i can separate ONE if
the babies from all the others for a class experiment(i will not be
harming it,my class just wants to wacth it develope)So,can i separate it?
Replies:
In many states it is illegal to experiment in any way in K-12 schools on
vertebrates without a qualified scientist, veterinarian etc. overseeing the
experiment so I generally do not encourage any experiments on vertebrates.
Students can watch them develop without separating them or experimenting.
Careful observation (with record taking) is one of the greatest abilities to
develop as a scientist...
