Question:
My four month old corn snake's eyes are hazed over today so it is going to shed. I am going out of town on Friday which is the planned day for the snake's weekly feed. Should I try to feed the snake on Friday or should I let it go a second week without eating?

Replies:
Most snakes will not eat when they are in the immediate pre-shed phase, and going another week without food will not do it any harm.
