We have a crayfish in my classroom. Two of them had eggs on them. One of them has black eggs and one of them has brown eggs. What is the difference between the two?

Sorry for the long delay in trying to answer your question. I have not been able to find anything specific, several of us think it might just be how old the eggs are. We are not sure if different species of crayfish have different color eggs.
