Question:
Why do Robins have two nests and it appears the first
one they never return to?
Replies:
Many birds are disrupted during the nesting process, by many forms of
disturbance. Most will start a new nest if for some reason they find the old
one no longer suitable. Most songbirds will also raise 2 or even 3 broods a
season in the temperate zones.
