Question:
Do some scarabs roll hair balls instead of dung balls?
Replies:
Scarabs and their close relatives are among the most diverse group of
beetles; there are many species of dung beetles and other species that are
similar in some ways, but in the general references I have I haven't seen
anything about any rolling balls of anything but dung. I don't have more
detailed references on the group.
