Question:
Is there some unit of magnetic force? Such as gram is a
unit for mass,
what is the unit for magnetism? I am looking for a unit that will
mesaure the magneitc force of a large body in space, such as a star,
planet, etc.
Replies:
The force due to a magnetic field is the same as the force due to
gravity, Newton in the MKS System.
Magnetic Fields are measured in Tesla.

The unit of force, whether magnetic, electrical, gravitational, etc. is
the Newton. One newton is the same as a (kg m)/s^2.
