Question:
This is a continuation of the cloud chamber problem. I am using a c Coleman lantern mantle ...it contains Thorium. I check it with my Geiger counter and it does cause clicks ...so it should work... I think...any help out there?

The Scientific American book The Amatuer Scientist by C. L. Strong has a whole chapter devoted to cloud chambers. It is a bit involved to go into here. I believe the book is out-of-print; if you cannot find a copy, NEWTON-mail me your snail-mail address, and I will send you some photocopies.
