Question:
What would happen if an electron were fired at a human at a
velocity high enough to produce x-rays?
Replies:
Not much if it was just one electron. What would happen would
depend on which particular atoms in the body the electron
interacted with: different atoms would produce different kinds
of x-rays for a given electron energy. Basically it would be a
pretty uncontrolled way of damaging a person's DNA.
