Question:
Please the reason(s) why two snowflakes cannot be the same size or
shape.
Replies:
There is no absolute reason, merely a statistical one -
a snowflake contains thousands of billions of billions
(10^21 or more) of water molecules, and although
snowflakes do have pretty patterns, they are really pretty
much random, and it is highly unlikely that two collections
of around 10^21 particles would be exactly alike.
