Question:
Where did the names for quarks originate? Up, Down, BeCharm, Beauty, truth seem to be such strange names. Also, what progress, if any, has benen made in the discovery of "Truth"?



Replies:
Strange you left out strange.
Truth and beauty were changed back to top and bottom at least ten years ago. I think top was discovered a couple of years ago, but I could be wrong.
