Storing Glucose
Name: Janelle Status: Other Grade: Other Location: Outside U.S. Country: Jamaica Date: November 2008
Question:
Why cant food be stored as glucose?
Replies:
It is too soluble so it diffuses and won't stay in one place. It has to be stored as a large molecule (glycogen) in the liver and muscles.
