Composition of dust

Question: What is dust? Are they dead bugs or what? And why
are they so attracted to my house?
I always find myself cleaning up dust! :)

Answer: Why don't you look at some dust with a strong magnifying glass
or microscope? You will certainly see fibers from textiles, plants and
unknown scources. You may also see evidence of of dander (skin Flakes)
and insects and arthropods (spider, mites, ticks, etc.). Pollen and
household insulation and foam backing from carpets are likely
constituents. I'm not a dust "buster" but I can assure you that this
is a well investigated subject.
