Question:
What other chemicals can we used that aren't that
poisonous as sodium acid in a car airbag that will do the same reaction?
Replies:
I know very little about automotive air bags, but I do know that two
compounds commonly used as gas-generating agents are sodium azide (not acid)
and tetrazole. I don't know anythning about their toxicities.
