Chemicals in bombs
What chemicals in a bomb make it explode???
Most bombs have one thing in common...they contain nitrogen,
oxygen and carbon. When the molecules containing these atoms decompose,
carbon dioxide and nitrogen (among other) gases are released quickly and
with tremendous energy.
You then have an expolsion.
There was a "Chemical & Engineering News" not too long ago that dealt with
explosives...cover story too. Try finding it in a local college/university
