Bumper Sticker Glue Removal

Question - Hi,
I am looking for a good solvent to remove hard tough sticker glue. I have
my mums car with sticker adverts, and I'm taking them off with a hair
dryer, but the glue stays on the car body. Currently I'm using white
spirit and it is working but I am afraid of wearing off the car paint
since it is a paint thinner, I tried looking for carbon tetrachloride but
it is not readily available on the market. What is a good solvent
available on the market.

Daniel,
Try a solvent called WD-40 -- comes in an aerosol spray can. It is available
in the U.S. and may be accessible to you in Europe. It is remarkably good at
removing residues from label and sticker adhesives and it will not damage
modern car paints.
