Question:
Does seed size affect plant growth?

Replies:
Within a particular plant species, possibly seedlings resulting from larger seeds might have higher growth rates.

For different plant species though, possibly smaller seeds such as those of grasses might have higher initial growth rates than the large seeds of a tree species.
