Club vs Pete Moss
Name: Teresa Location: N/A Country: N/A Date: N/A
Question:
What is the difference between club mosses and pete mosses?
Replies:
Dear Teresa,
Clubmoss is actually not a moss, but rather a pteridophyte (or relative of the ferns). It's scientific name is Lycopodium or Huperzia.
Peat moss is Sphagnum moss common to bogs.
Sincerely,
Anthony R. Brach, Ph.D.
