Question:
Is there any new research into galaxy formation. Also how many galaxies do we know about and what are their formations ie. Spiral.

Replies:
There is lots of research on galaxy formation, and some recent. You should check out a book to see the differences. The most interesting topics are galaxies that might have black holes at their center, and the places where galaxies are not so dense. There is a lot here, but look for a book with comple te data.
